Phil Wins HSBC China

Post  MoneyShot on Mon Nov 12, 2007 5:01 pm

I admire Tiger for his skills and almost immortality, But Phil brings about a wholesome image to this beautiful game we all love and cherish. It is thus refreshing to see him win in China even after having lost a comfortable lead coming into the final round and squaring off in 2 playoff holes with 2 other great golfers. Goes to show resilience is another aspect of this game we all need to adopt especially when aiming to break 100, 90, 80. Let's face it, we ain't gonna be a Tiger, however most of us are possible Phils......think about it.

Great words for the average golfer...

I can't agree more. I think sometimes we get caught up with playing like the pros but we fail to look within ourselves and re-evaluate the fun and never-say-die attitude of this beautiful game. Reminds me of Jack Nicklaus, someone who always tackle the course, not his competitors. Playing the game against himself...

In the meantime, here are some nice pictures of Phil.
